So I recently bought a new 'smart' phone.
Wanted to get some 'apps'....
as you do...
In order to do that had to open a gmail account..
OK
Did not want or need another email account
but
I opened
a
gmail account...
Next
thing all my blog photos appeared on my smart phone...
What the!!
Don't want or need them clogging up my phone's memory
so
deleted them
GUESS WHAT????
In doing so all the photos loaded onto my blog
over the course of it's 6 month life span
have
been
DELETED!!!
I am so cranky and annoyed, not to mention just plain bitterly disappointed.
Not to mention that now
gmail has
commandeered itself
as
my
primary email
and
I don't want that to be the case either
SO called 'smart' phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it was so smart it should have asked my permission before doing any of this crap!
Can anyone offer any advice

I recently opened a gmail account so I could gmail (skype) with my kids. Did not want another email either, but did at their so to see my kids who are far away, and did so at their insistance. It also tries to have that gmail address be primary, but so far has not reeked havoc like it did to you. I am sorry can't offer any advice but I know there will be someone out there who can. I would be a little bit cranky too if I were you. Hope you have a lovely Christmas though blogging friend!
