WoUldn't yoU like to visit this beaUtifUl landmark?
Paris, France...the city of lights.
I sUre woUld.
The letter U is Used more than one woUld think..
I initially thoUght I woUld speak aboUt words that need the letter U in order to be pronoUnced correctly
Words sUch as
qUaint, qUeer, qUalm, qUince, qUarter, qUagmire, qUintessential, qUarter, qUaver, qUeUe, qUeen, qUenelle, qUench... etc etc
All the words listed are 'q' words, bUt they woUld not be the same withoUt the Use of the hUmble letter U.
In my opening coUple of sentences alone I realised that the letter U is indeed Used qUite a lot and more than one woUld think.
I hope I have not neglected to specially acknowledge any single U's
in my ramble.
If I have please let me know.

  1. U sound like a fun gal and I'm going to follow U:) I love creating things too but life has changed some so I don't have the time anymore. But I love to see what everyone else does. I'll come check out more later on. Take care. Oh, and U have fun with all them U's :)

  2. What a FUN post! U U U are SOOOO U-nique! :)

A rock roof...well I remember it being this tar like thingy with scattered rocks on the top. We use to climb up on the roof and throw them off making my daddy soooo mad! By the time we moved away the rocks were almost all gone! In Oklahoma USA (middle of the USA) we don't have such roofs. I haven't seen one in a long, long time!

  3. Ok that sounds like a UniqUe kind of roof. I have never seen one or even heard of one before today on your blog. I can imagine why your Dad got so cranky. We had a young man knock on our door a few years back and said he lived there as a child and could he look through? He didn't have any photos or anything so instead of saying no outright I talked to him at the door for quite a while and generally asked him questions about the house and then when I felt sure he was not a weirdo, I asked him in and got some more 'goss' about the house from him. He told us that his father had fibro sheeted the walls up in the 1970's.......I was so mad about that as he had covered up tongue and groove walls of the 1930's house. So the house I live in now had the same thing done to it. You can see it from the manhole when you look up in the ceiling cavity. It's hard to believe that this has happened to the last 2 houses we bought.
