Folksy Megan

I am still not able to sew due to back pain.
14 months now and counting.
This is a little doll I made a few years back.

The name of the pattern
is
Megan's Locket
by
Sun Valley Primitives
Australia

I renamed
her
Folksy Megan.
I find that when making a doll
the name just pops into my head
and
I
usually go with the first one.
It's a system that serves me well
and
I
find it quite funny when
I
discover what my latest creation
will
be
named.

She is a bit mischievious
 and
I
had
trouble keeping up
with
her
antics
as
she
posed all around
 my
sewing room
and
garden.

Pretending to be an old tin...didn't fool me though.

Stitching away in the garden
What a little scamp!

  2. That is hard to not be able to do something you really want to do! Hugs! But Megan is adorable! I hope someday you are able to get back to one of the things you love!

  4. He he Edie Marie, that's funny. She is a little imp.... Atm she is packed away in a trunk with heaps of friends. This house is too small to display all my raggy dolls. Hope she is behaving, I should check on her.

  5. Megan is cute as can be. My husband bought me a primitive Mildred doll one time. (my name) I love her!
So glad you stopped by my blog. I've signed on to follow you. You said you loved old photos, you just have to visit Connie's blog (link on my post) She has been able to return some old photos from antique shops to families of the person pictured! It is truly amazing!
    Have a good weekend.
