New Scrapbooking Purchases.......pretty and nostalgic.

I finally have my hands on some 'elusive' american seam binding tape!

I'm SO excited!!!!!!
This is my first experience with seam binding tape.
I read about it and see it used by all my favourite card making bloggers.
I've looked extensively on ebay etc and finally found this on-line from an Australian seller.
The price seemed good so I got 6 colours. Have not used it yet.

I fell over 2 weeks ago and hurt myself quite badly.
The fall has set back my recovery from major back surgery, and I can't do much but lie in bed.
I'm so cranky with myself. Just waiting to hear from my surgeon after a CT scan last week.

I can't wait to use some of these beautiful items as soon as my back allows.....
In the meantime I'm dreaming of all the wonderful things I can do.

  1. Ellena,

The answer to your question about Virginia Beach, it is the same beach they talk about on the Waltons. Also, I live about an hour from the mountains where the Waltons lived and have been near their homeplace several times. I'm sure you know that that series is actually written about a real life family.

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving nice comments.

  2. Oh how lovely, exciting and wonderful. Yes I have read Earl Hamner's autobiography etc. I just love everything about that part of the USA, would so dearly love to visit if my health ever allows.

  4. Thanks Twyla, your comment has brightened my day too. And big news.....I just had an actual visitor randomly ..... We are only new to to this area and all our friends and rellies are far away. So when some1 knocked on the door I nearly fainted...LOL It was a lady I met at stitching last year before I had the op and she just dropped in. I was still in my PJ's but anyhow it was still a lovely surprise and somehow the pain in the back is a bit more bearable.
