Three lovely ladies.

Today I would like to share with you, three different crinoline lady designs.
Recently I bought set of 6 plates in very good condition.
It was a bit of a random purchase apart from the fact that I just loved them on sight.

I have no cups and saucers to go with them but they were just so pretty I could not leave them in the shop.

Weatherby
Hanley England
Royal Falcon Ware
Durability stamped across the flag
Three of the plates are printed in gold
and
Three of the plates are stamped in red and blue
Seems strange to me.
What do you think?
This is a lovely tea cosy I bought a month or so ago.

  6. Hi ElenaElisabeth,
the plates and the tea cozy look great together. I think you can use every monocrome cup to the plates. You have such a nice collection, maybe you will find some cups, too. They make a lovely vignette with your hutch.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  8. Those are sweet plates! I have seen some similar but in round larger plates.
All your china is lovely. Do you have tea cups too? I love your tea pot cozy, she is adorable! At first I thought she was part of the tea pot.
Thank you so much for sharing with us.
    Hugs,

  10. Hi Terri. No tea cups to go with the plates. That is why I was a bit hesitant about buying them. But I thought they would be nice to eat a slice of birthday cake from. So therefore no real need for matching teacups and saucers. Having said that I would not walk past some in a second hand or antique shop if I could get some at the right price. I got the tea cosy at an Antique closing down sale in Toowoomba, Qld. She was only $27 reduced down from $40 something. Couldn't let her stay there for that price.
