    1. The clock would you believe was my great grandfather's and it was in a wheelie bin (my aunty was throwing stuff out left right and centre) and I pulled it out.

  6. Dear Friend, Such inspiration from around your sewing room. Thank you for sharing and Thank you so much for your kind words about Miss B. You touched my heart with your blog visit. I am trying to move forward, it just takes time. My faith is giving me the strength I need and the prayers of friends and family have lifted my entire family to peace. Hope to see you soon as I begin to visit in blogland again.
Blessings to you always, Your friend, Celestina Marie

  7. Good morning EllenaElizabeth,
You have some real treasures there. The little doggy is cute. Did someone carve him or is he made of iron? It's neat how my china pieces are the same as your mother's! Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely weekend.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

    1. The scotty dog is made of cast iron. It's fairly heavy. My friend gave it to for a christmas pressie.

  9. What a fun sewing room! I've found I need some style to my sewing room or I'm not motivated enough to create and sew. All your sewing room touches would certainly be an inspiration!

    1. Thanks for visiting my blog Sandy, and thanks for becoming my latest follower too. Do you have a blog I can visit? The string holder is new from a vintage theme shop. It is cute and I love the scissors too. It's very heavy, made from cast iron so would make a good paperweight too.

  11. I love your pictures in this post. I am sorry that the swap is not open to international. Maybe the next time we have one that would definitely be something smaller that can fit in a padded mailer we could have it be open to international participants.

I'm so sorry that you too suffer with FM but I hope you are able to find a comfort level where you can still enjoy doing all the things you love! I too love vintage and sewing... besides all the wonderful papercrafts that are available to us today! I would be so inspired by your sewing room I'm not sure I could ever leave it! :) All those special touches really inspire us to create and express... thanks for sharing!!!
