A pretty little shoe pincushion and a doiley

I made this a couple of years ago
and
have been having lots of fun
taking photos with my new Canon EOS 600D.
These two were taken using the macro setting
and
then I had fun editing using
PicMonkey.
I made the paper flowers
and
my mum
made
the little crocheted flowers
and
the doiley
underneath
the
Carlton Ware piece.
I'd love to hear from you.

  5. Hi there, I love your little shoe pincushion. I have been thinking of you as my son will be flying to Australia in a couple of weeks. He is going to be in the Perth area, on a mission for "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Actually his mission is in all of WA and so I am interested in everything Australian these days. Thanks for your sweet comment, as always.

    1. Yes I too have had your son and his mission in my thoughts. My son now lives and works in another state and we see him infrequently these days. Western Australia is so far away from where I live, it's about a 7 hr plane flight I believe. It is a beautiful state and your son should enjoy the sights and difference in lifestyle. The more remote areas are truly spectacular. If he gets a chance to to Broome, The Kimberley Mountain Ranges, Kalgoorlie etc. Google them and you will see what I mean. Most of WA is desert. Anyhow at least you have Skype and sms. That's how we stay in touch with our son. Take care and don't be anxious about your boy. God is watching over him.
